About Financial Advisor Eatontown

We are a small financial advisory practice in Eatontown. Most people who come to us already have something in place, like a 401(k), an old life policy or a bank brokerage account. We start by looking at what you have and keeping what still does its job.

Why we start with what you already own

A lot of advice begins with a clean slate. Sell the old funds, cancel the old policy, move everything over. That can cost you. Surrender charges, taxable gains and lost coverage are real, and they are easy to gloss over in a sales pitch.

So we work the other way. We go through your accounts, policies and goals line by line. If a fund is fine but the mix is off, we rebalance. If a life policy still covers what your family needs, you keep it. When something should go, we show you why, what it costs to change and what you get in return. Then the decision is yours.

We hold a Series 7 license and are licensed to sell life insurance. We are also a credentialed holistic financial coach through Columbia University. That coaching background shapes how we talk with clients. Money choices are tied to family, work and how you want to spend your time, so we ask about those before we say a word about your portfolio.

How we work with clients

  1. 01

    We read before we recommend

Early meetings are for listening and going through statements. We want to see the fees, the holdings and who is named as beneficiary before we suggest anything.

  2. 02

Change only what earns its keep

Every move has a price, whether it is a tax bill, a fee or a gap in coverage. If adjusting an account gets you most of the way to your goals, that is what we recommend.

  3. 03

Straight talk when replacing makes sense

Sometimes an old annuity, a high-fee fund or a policy that no longer fits really should go. We put the numbers side by side so you can see the trade for yourself. No rush, no pressure.

  4. 04

One plan instead of a pile of products

Retirement planning, tax management, insurance and legacy planning are linked. Pulling money from one account can change your tax bill, and a beneficiary form can override what your will says. We keep all of it in one written financial plan and go over it with you as your life changes.
